I feel like we never get a head of our backlog. And these "short" weekends...well, we're just lucky to get ready for the upcoming week. This was an extra "short" weekend because I had to work. (I found this picture on the camera...I guess Andy and Exia played in the backyard while I was toiling away at the office yesterday).
Also, one year ago Saturday was Exia's original due date. I don't know why, but I mentally mark this day with nearly as much signficance as her actual birthday. Maybe because I was prepared for her to arrive around her due date, or even late (I was prepared to have an August baby!). I never would have thought she would arrive in June. I wonder if this significance will gradually fade with time? Some day, I will be telling Exia the story of how she was born and I won't be able to remember the actual due date or exactly how early she was? The story will become smooth and polished with each telling and with time?
I still remember Gav's due date...maybe its because he came 3 wks early or its one of those mom things that you never forget! You are doing wonderful you work very hard, have a 1 yr old and you are pregnant. You are awesome!
