One of Exia's friends at school has a new baby sister. Baby sister is like one week old or so. Her parents brought new baby sister to school on Thursday for a visit. They had her in the carrier seat.
I'll tell you what, that baby looked so krazy small! All I could think was that her perfectly-shaped head could not possibly be that small. We stood there making small talk (while I stared at krazy small baby)...she's beautiful, how are you feeling, how was delivery, how big is baby? 6lb 12oz?!?! No way. Nope. Uh uh. Not possible.
Exia was 6lb 4.5oz and AJ was 5lb 0oz. My babies were smaller than this krazy small newborn baby? No way. How could I forget such a thing? How could time betray me like this and warp my memory?
What else is time glossing over in my memory? I must be getting old.
Or, those parents are totally wrong and their baby is much smaller than 6-12, which I think is a more likely explanation than me getting old.

ReplyDeleteSadly time goes by too fast. I wish I took a picture and recorded a short clip of the kids everyday. Gav was smaller than that too and A was 7.8, I thought she was the fattest baby I had ever seen!
I think family & friends who don't see the kids everyday realizes the kids growth more than I do.
Hooray for E and using the potty! Its time to do the potty dance as a fam!
We are all busy. How was Aj's 1st Birthday? I know a few weeks late but I meant to wish him a happy bday in the email just got side tracked. My brain does that a lot now
