E's First Easter

Saturday, we made a spur of the moment decision (after feeling like our household chores were under control) to drive to Grandma Lorene's house. E got an Easter basket filled with rubber duckies and fish for the bathtub, along with books and even some cash. We also enjoyed some yummy roast and mashed potatoes.

Sunday, we went to Mimi and Papa's house. Jolie decorated some Easter cookies...a little tribute to E's first Easter :)


We dyed eggs with E (dressed in one of Papa's old t-shirts). She really wasn't interested in coloring the eggs, she just wanted to eat them (only the yolks - no egg whites yet).




After dying Easter eggs we ate some delicious spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad. E opened her Easter basket filled with puzzles and clothes (and a bright yellow duck).

We had a fun and pretty relaxing weekend. We just wish Easter fell on Saturday so we could have Sunday to recover :)
